If your employer reduces their contribution, we’ll notify you by email. As an employee, you’ll then have three options - depending on your current plan:
You switch to the new, lower price plan
Follow the steps in the email to activate the plan your employer now proposes. Example:
Your employer lowers their contribution from € 20 to € 15.
You activate the new € 15 plan → you don’t pay anything extra.
You keep the price plan your employer previously proposed
You choose not to switch to the lower price and stay on your current plan.
Example: your plan is € 30, as previously proposed by your employer. They lower their contribution to € 20. You can:
stay on € 30 → you now pay € 9 yourself
switch to € 20 → you don’t pay anything extra
You stay on a higher price plan than the one proposed
You were already paying extra, and that amount now increases.
Example: your employer initially proposed € 20. You chose € 30 and paid € 9 extra. Now your employer lowers their contribution to € 15. You can:
stay on € 29 → you now pay € 14 extra
switch to € 20 → you pay € 5 extra
switch to € 15 → you don’t pay anything extra
