Unpaid bill? Here’s what you need to know.

If you paid using one of the methods listed above after receiving a reminder, your payment will be processed immediately. Any blocked services will be reactivated within 30 minutes.

If you chose to pay by bank transfer, please note it can take 3 to 5 business days for the payment to be processed in our system. Any blocked services will be reactivated after that period.

Paid your payment invitation or invoice, but your services are still inactive after 30 minutes (for other payment methods) or 3 - 5 business days (for a bank transfer)? Then please contact our helpdesk, they’ll be happy to help you out.

  1. 1

You receive a payment invitation or invoice with a due date.

Frequently asked questions

If you don’t pay your invoice on time, you will first receive a reminder by email. If the payment is still not made afterwards, we will charge €6.50 in reminder fees for the next reminder. The legal maximum is €20 per collection entry. You’ll find these costs on your next invoice and in the invoice details in your My Viking account.

Want to avoid these costs? Easy! Pay your invoice before the due date or simply set up an automatic payment in your My Viking account . That way, you don’t have to think about it.

Missed a payment anyway? Just pay as soon as possible after our first reminder via the website or app. Your payment will be processed right away and you’ll avoid extra costs.

Can reminder fees be charged?

Contact your bank to find out why the payment was declined. Due to privacy regulations, your bank isn’t allowed to share that information with us directly. In most cases, it’s due to insufficient funds at the time of the payment.

We automatically submit your invoice for payment up to three times. If all three attempts fail, your direct debit will be blocked.

Important: If you make a manual payment at the same time we submit the payment to your bank, a double payment may occur. If that happens, please contact our helpdesk.

What should I do next?

  • Pay your outstanding payment invitation or invoice manually via your My Viking account.

  • Top-ups can also be done manually.

  • Want to use direct debit again? Just add a new payment method in your account - you can use the same details as before.

What can I do when my direct debit is blocked?

When activating your direct debit fails, you can remove the refused payment method and create a new one via My Viking.

Did this cause your payment to fail? In that case, we'll send you an e-mail so you can pay for your invoice or payment invitation manually. If you have a prepaid SIM card, your (remaining) calling credit will be revoked.

My direct debit mandate was refused. What do I do?
