King Of The Vikings
Organization
The competition is organized by Mobile Vikings NV, with its registered office at Kempische Steenweg 309 bus 1, 3500 Hasselt.
Purpose of the competition
From April 1, 2026, Mobile Vikings launches the “King Of The Vikings” competition. Participants compete for the title of KOM (King of the Mountain) by cycling as fast as possible. The fastest participant has a chance to win the prize.
Course of the competition
The competition starts on April 20, 2026 and runs until June 30, 2026.
Participants must complete a predefined cycling route as fast as possible, namely the “King Of The Vikings” segment on Strava. The participant’s speed is tracked via Strava.
During the first week of July 2026, the winner of the competition will be determined.
The winner will receive a prize equivalent to an “Unlimited Fast” Combo subscription (home internet + mobile) for 12 months, in the form of Viking Points, which are automatically applied as a discount on the winner’s Mobile Vikings bill.
The winner will be notified by email. If the winner does not respond in time or if the contact details provided are incorrect, the right to the prize will be forfeited and a new winner will be selected.
Who can participate?
Participants must be at least 18 years old and residing in Belgium. If a participant is a minor, Mobile Vikings assumes that they have obtained parental or guardian consent. If this consent cannot be provided, participation or the prize may be denied at any time.
The following persons are excluded from winning:
Employees and collaborators of Mobile Vikings and its affiliated companies;
Their household members and relatives up to the third degree;
Any person directly or indirectly involved in organizing the competition.
Mobile Vikings may exclude a participant at any time in case of violation of the participation conditions, abuse, deception, lack of fair play, bad faith participation, or any reason deemed sufficiently serious.
The identity of the participant is determined based on the information provided. Mobile Vikings cannot be held responsible if identification is impossible due to incorrect or incomplete data. The use of false information may lead to exclusion.
Participants may complete the route multiple times and thus participate multiple times.
If the winner is not yet a Mobile Vikings customer, they must become one in order to receive the prize.
Strava Account
Account creation
Participants must have a valid Strava account. If they do not yet have one, they must create one.Membership of the competition and Strava Club
Participants must join the specific “King of the Vikings” Strava competition and the official Strava Club of the organizer. By joining, they agree to Strava’s terms of use applicable at the time of participation.Ride registration
Participants must complete a cycling activity in which the specified segment (the climb) is correctly recorded.
The ride must be uploaded to Strava afterwards, using compatible devices such as Garmin, Wahoo, or similar.Segment Verification and Ranking
The organizer will verify the recorded rides and may filter via Strava for participants who are members of the official club and who completed the segment within the specified period.
A ranking will be established and maintained based on this data.Participant Registration
Any participant who completes the segment and uploads their ride is automatically registered. Membership in the Strava Club allows the organizer to select only valid participant rides and times for the ranking.
The prizes
The winner receives Viking Points equivalent to an “Unlimited Fast” Combo subscription (home internet + mobile) for 12 months at Mobile Vikings. This includes:
A mobile “Unlimited Fast” subscription;
A fixed internet “Unlimited Fast” subscription.
These points are credited to the winner’s MyViking account and automatically applied as a discount on their Mobile Vikings invoice.
The prize is awarded in Viking Points, in accordance with the general terms of Viking Deals: Legal and user information | Mobile Vikings. 1 Viking Point equals 1 EUR.
Mobile Vikings provides no guarantees regarding the prize and may replace, modify, or withdraw prizes during the competition.
Mobile Vikings cannot be held liable for accidents or damages directly or indirectly related to a prize. The prize is indivisible and must be accepted as awarded. It cannot be transferred, exchanged, or offered for sale.
Participants explicitly agree that their name and/or image may be published if they win, without entitlement to any compensation other than the prize.
Processing of personal data
Mobile Vikings will process the following data in the context of this competition:
Name
Email address
These data are provided via the participant’s Strava account and via email.
Purpose of processing:
Organization of the competition;
Awarding the prize.
Retention period:
Data will not be kept longer than necessary for these purposes. Data required for accounting purposes will be retained in accordance with legal requirements.
You have the right to:
Access your personal data;
Transfer your personal data;
Correct inaccurate or outdated data;
Request deletion of your data;
Restrict processing of your data.

General provisions
Mobile Vikings is not responsible for any damage, injury, accidents, or death resulting from participation or winning a prize.
All additional communications regarding the competition form part of these rules. All decisions by the organizer are final.
No purchase is required to participate.
No correspondence will be entered into regarding the rules, organization, or final results of the competition.
Participants must refrain from negative public communication about the competition or organizers.
Mobile Vikings cannot be held liable if, due to force majeure or other circumstances beyond its control, the competition is modified, extended, or cancelled. Nor is it responsible for technical issues or communication problems (e.g. network overload, outages, Strava issues) that may prevent or affect participation.
In case of abuse, deception, or fraud, Mobile Vikings reserves the right to exclude participants from this and/or other competitions.
By participating, participants fully accept these rules.
Mobile Vikings may modify parts of these rules for organizational reasons.
Any complaint must be submitted in writing within 10 calendar days after the end of the competition to:

In case of disputes, the courts of Antwerp, Hasselt division, have jurisdiction. This competition is governed by Belgian law.
