Ditch your fam, join the clan!

Vikings with an active mobile subscription can form a Viking Clan together. A Viking Clan consists of at least 2 and up to 4 Vikings with a mobile subscription. By forming a Viking Clan, all members receive a free extra bundle of mobile data every month, for as long as the Clan remains active.

How much extra data do I get?

  • Viking Clan of 2: 2 GB extra mobile data.

  • Viking Clan of 3: 3 GB extra mobile data.

  • Viking Clan of 4: 4 GB extra mobile data.

How do I start a Clan?

    Go to Products.

    Select your mobile subscription.

    Go to Form a Viking Clan.

    Go to Invite a friend.

  5. 5

    Scroll through your contacts to see who is a Viking and if they are in a clan. (Requires contact permissions enabled in your phone settings).

Leaving (or losing) your Viking Clan

Clans change, someone moves on, switches to a prepaid card, or leaves Mobile Vikings. Here's what happens when that occurs.

When am I removed from my Clan?

You're automatically removed from your Viking Clan as soon as one of these happens:

  • You leave the Clan yourself.

  • You switch your phone number to a prepaid card.

Frequently asked questions

If you create a new Viking Clan, the 2 GB data benefit is immediately activated for both members.

If you join an existing Viking Clan, your data benefit (3 or 4 GB) is activated immediately. The new Clan bundle (3 or 4 GB) for the other existing members will be adjusted once their current extra data bundle (2 or 3 GB) expires. Here’s a concrete example:

  • Viking 1 and Viking 2 start a Clan on 12/01. Their Viking Clan benefit of 2 GB renews every month on the 12th.

  • Viking 3 joins the Clan on 23/03. The 3 GB benefit starts immediately (23/03) for the new member and renews monthly on the 23rd.

When does my Viking Clan data benefit become active?

If you refer a new Viking and receive 15 Viking Points for it, you can only add this person to your Viking Clan once they have an active subscription.

Every Viking with an active mobile subscription.

  • Multiple SIM cards? You can combine your own eligible subscriptions into one Clan and claim that free data yourself.

  • Referred someone? You can add a new Viking to your Clan as soon as their subscription is active.

    • When do changes take effect?

    • Your Clan has its own Clan month. It starts on the day you join the Viking Clan and runs separately from your regular subscription period.

    • Changes to your Clan advantage only take effect at the end of your Clan month.

    • This also applies when you upgrade or downgrade your subscription.

    Unlimited Fast-Pass subscription?

    • Your Clan bonus also extends your full-speed data bundle.

    • Your speed normally drops after 170 GB, but with an active Clan, that happens later.

      Send this link to the person you want to start a clan with (they must be a Viking).

    How do I manage my Clan?

    You can easily manage your Viking Clan in your My Viking account on the website. What can you do?

    • Find your personal invitation link

    • Add members

    • Change the name of your Clan

    • Leave a Clan

  • You permanently disconnect your number, or transfer it to another operator.

    • Good to know: you can't remove another member from your Clan yourself. A member only leaves through one of the situations above.

    What happens when I leave or get removed?

    • You lose your Clan data bonus immediately. As soon as you're out, the extra monthly data bundle stops.

    • You're on a one-month break from Viking Clan.** Both you and the phone number involved can't start a new Clan, or join an existing Clan via invitation, for exactly one month. After that, you're free to clan up again.
