Installing a Wi-Fi booster

What type of modem do you have?
To provide you with the correct step-by-step plan, we need to know which modem you are using. Check the pictures below to easily see which model is installed in your home.

Make sure your Wi-Fi connection is activated:
check the button on the back of the Wi-Fi booster. The button should be set to AUTO.

Turn on the Wi-Fi booster:
2.1. Plug the Wi-Fi booster’s power cable into a power socket in the same room as the B-box.
2.2. Press the POWER button. The light will turn green. Wait 1 minute until the WPS light turns off.

Synchronize the Wi-Fi of the B-box with the Wi-Fi booster:
3.1. Press the WPS button on your B-box for 2 seconds. The synchronization light (WPS) will start blinking.
3.2. Then, within 2 minutes, briefly press the WPS button on the Wi-Fi booster. The lights of both devices will start blinking and then go out after a while.
3.3. Once the synchronization is complete, the light will stay on.
3.4. You can now unplug the Wi-Fi booster and place it in a central location between the B-box 3 and the device that needs to receive the wifi signal.

Turn the Wi-Fi booster back on:
4.1. Plug the power cable into a power socket. Make sure the power button is properly pressed.
4.2. The POWER and Link Quality lights will turn green.
4.3. Check if the Link Quality light stays green. If not, place the Wi-Fi booster closer to the B-box.

Turn on the Wi-Fi booster:
1.1. Plug the Wi-Fi booster’s power cable into a power socket in the same room as the Internet Box.
1.2. Press the POWER button. The light will turn orange or white.

Synchronize the Wi-Fi of the Internet Box with the wifi booster:
2.1. Briefly press the WPS button on your Internet Box. The Wi-Fi light will now turn white.
2.2. Press the WPS button until the positioning light starts blinking white. This may take up to 10 seconds.
2.3. Once the synchronization is complete, the positioning light will turn green. The Wi-Fi button and the power button are now blue.
2.4. You can now unplug the Wi-Fi booster and place it in a central location between the Internet Box and the device that needs to receive the wifi signal.

Turn the Wi-Fi booster back on:
3.1. Plug the power cable into a power socket. Make sure the POWER button is properly pressed.
3.2. The Wi-Fi and Power lights will turn blue. The positioning light will turn green.
3.3. Is the positioning light not green? Then place the Wi-Fi booster closer to the Internet Box for better reception.

Turn on the Wi-Fi Booster+:
1.1. Plug the power cable of the Wi-Fi Booster+ into a power socket in the same room as the Internet Box+.
1.2. Press the POWER button. The light will turn orange or white.

Synchronize the Wi-Fi of the Internet Box+ with the Wi-Fi Booster+:
2.1. Do this by pressing the WPS button on the Internet Box+. The Wi-Fi light will start blinking white.
2.2. Press the WPS button on the Wi-Fi Booster+ until the positioning light starts blinking white. This may take up to 10 seconds.
2.3. Once the synchronization is complete, the positioning light will turn green and the power light will turn blue. This may take a few minutes.
2.4. You can now unplug your Wi-Fi Booster+ and place it in a central location between your Internet Box+ and the device that needs to receive the wifi signal.

Turn the Wi-Fi booster back on:
3.1. Plug the power cable of the Wi-Fi Booster+ into the power socket. Make sure the POWER button is properly pressed.
3.2. The Wi-Fi and power lights will turn blue. The positioning light will turn green.
3.3. Is the positioning light not green? Then place the Wi-Fi Booster+ closer to the Internet Box+ for better reception.
