Data roaming is not working

Can’t connect to a local mobile network while abroad? We’ll help you get back on track!

How do you do that?

First, check if your mobile internet settings are correct. You can do this quickly with this handy guide:

Are all the settings correct? Then check if data roaming is turned on using the guide below. We know the title says “turn off data roaming,” but don’t worry, the steps are exactly the same!

Still not working?

Still can’t connect to the local mobile internet? Then it’s best to go through this quick checklist:

    Restart your device as soon as you arrive abroad.

    Manual network selection:

    Go to Settings

    Tap Mobile Network

    Tap Network Selection

    Turn off the Automatic option

    Wait for the available networks to appear (this can take up to two minutes)

    Select one of the local providers

    Mobile data outside the EU:

    Check out our Global Data Pass.

    Tap Connections

    Go to Mobile Networks > Network Operators

    Turn off Select automatically

    Wait for the available networks to appear (this can take up to two minutes)

    Choose one of the local providers
