Claim your Viking Points

Didn't receive Viking Points after your purchase through Viking Deals? Submit a claim!

Where are my Viking Points?

No confirmation email or Viking Points after 72 hours? Check your My Viking account to see if your purchase has been registered. If your purchase isn’t listed in your Viking Points overview either, you can easily submit a claim.

How do I submit a claim?

    Go to ‘Viking Points’ in your My Viking account and click on ‘Didn’t receive Viking Points?

    Select the partner for which you want to submit a claim.

    Select the date of your purchase.

    Can’t select your purchase date? Then you probably made a mistake during the Viking Deal process. But no worries, mistakes happen! ;-) You can bypass this once by selecting the checkbox “show all dates” at the bottom of the calendar.

    Fill in the following details from your purchase:

    a) Order number

    b) Invoice

    c) Category

    d) Amount excl. VAT

  5. 5

    Click ‘confirm’ and your claim will be submitted!

Why was my claim rejected?

In that case, the Viking Points are either still pending or you may have already received them. You can check this in your My Viking account.

The Viking Points you earn through a Viking Deal are actually a commission that we receive from our partner and pass on to you. If you visit other websites during your purchase (such as a Google ad, price comparison site, blog, etc.), the commission may go to another party. In that case, we do not receive anything from the partner and unfortunately cannot award you any Viking Points.

Make sure to carefully check the information you enter. It is important that you select the correct purchase date and enter the correct order number. Otherwise, the partner will not be able to find your purchase and your claim will be rejected. If you enter an incorrect order amount or request too many Viking Points, the partner may also reject your claim. Please note that the number of Viking Points is calculated based on the purchase amount excluding VAT.

Most Viking Deals have their own conditions. For example, they are often not combinable with other discounts, or you may not place your order using a business account, etc. You can view the conditions for each Viking Deal partner on our Viking Deals page.

Frequently asked questions

This means that you will not receive Viking Points for that purchase or booking. Possible reasons for this include:

  • The purchase did not meet the conditions. Most Viking Deals have their own specific conditions. For example, they are often not combinable with other discounts, or you may not place an order using a business account, etc. You can find the conditions for each Viking Deal on our Viking Deals page.

  • Your purchase or booking has been cancelled or (partially) returned. When you cancel or (partially) return an order or booking, the original purchase or booking is voided. This also applies to an order or booking that is (partially) refunded.

In such cases, we no longer receive any commission, so no Viking Points can be passed on to you.

If none of these possible reasons apply and you are sure you should have received the Viking Points, please contact our helpdesk.

Why have my Viking Points been cancelled?

If you didn’t make your purchase through Viking Deals, unfortunately, we can’t award you any Viking Points. We only receive a reward from the partner if you have activated the deal correctly. Install the browser plugin so you never miss a deal again.

I forgot to use/activate Viking Deals. What now?

Reserved Viking Points are Viking Points that are (temporarily) unavailable because they are being used for a transaction, such as a top-up or the payment of your invoice or payment invitation.

When you use Viking Points for a payment, the points are reserved until the transaction is completed - usually within a few minutes. If your top-up fails or you don't complete it, the reservation might take a bit longer, and your Viking Points can remain reserved for up to 24 hours. But no worries: you won’t lose them.

Do you have a subscription and see reserved Viking Points? Then they will automatically be used as a discount on your next invoice or payment invitation.

Depending on the partner, it typically takes 6 to 12 weeks to process your claim. This also accounts for possible return periods.
