Transfer or remove your eSIM

Need an eSIM? It's as easy as that!

Need an eSIM? Consider it Done!

Got a new smartphone, lost your device, or accidentally deleted your eSIM? Your new eSIM will be reinstalled in no time with the following steps:

    Request a replacement eSIM via your My Viking account.

    Do you have an iPhone, Samsung or Google smartphone? Then you can choose automatic eSIM activation. In just one step, your current physical SIM card or eSIM is replaced by a new eSIM. All the following steps can be skipped.

    Once activated, you’ll receive a second email with a QR code. Before scanning the QR code, remove the old eSIM profile from your previous device. Attention: the QR code can only be scanned once. If something went wrong during the first scan, please contact our helpdesk.

Remove eSIM

Attention: If you don’t have an existing eSIM profile, you can skip the steps below.

How to remove an eSIM profile:

    Go to Settings

    Tap Mobile Data

  3. 3

    Under SIMs, select the eSIM you no longer need

  4. 4

    Tap Delete eSIM

    Go to Settings

    Scroll down and select Connections

  3. 3

    Tap SIM Manager

  4. 4

    Select the eSIM you want to remove and delete it.

Install eSIM

  • Removed the unnecessary eSIM profile? Then go ahead and install your eSIM by scanning the QR code via your device settings, not via the camera app! Attention: This code can only be scanned once. So make sure to scan it through your device’s settings or a QR code scanner.

  • Followed all the steps correctly? Your eSIM is now ready to use! Something went wrong during the first scan? Don’t worry, just contact our helpdesk and we’ll help you out.
