When?

Every month, your payment invitations will be delivered straight to your mailbox. But in case you prefer the old school paper version, we’ll make sure you get it too.

How do I need to pay?

You pay your bills the Viking way: as profitable as possible! Still have Viking Points? Those will automatically be used first. You’ll then see the outstanding amount on your invoice/payment invitation.

Keep in mind that if you want a Mobile Vikings subscription, you'll have to set up an automatic payment (direct debit, VISA, MasterCard) too.

Viking Points

You easily earn Viking Points which you use to settle (part of) your bill. How? By referring a new Mobile Viking and with the Viking Deals.

Notifications

Have you used more than your bundle contained? Not to worry: via email and SMS we’ll keep you up to date:

  • when you’re about to go outside of your bundle.
  • when you’re making costs outside of your bundle.
  • and an extra notification for every € 10 you're spending outside of your bundle.

Meanwhile, you keep a close eye on your usage with the Viking App and our website. So, you’ll always have your finger on the pulse. Besides, your next invoice/payment invitation will always provide you with a clear overview.

Roaming

When you’re abroad, calling and texting is automatically available. But data roaming has to be activated manually in your phone’s settings. In the EU1 all of your roaming usage will be deducted from your subscription bundle. Additional roaming costs will be available on your next payment invitation.

From a prepaid SIM card to a subscription

Swap your prepaid SIM card for a subscription? It’s easy as pie: just flip a switch in your settings. Swap the other way obviously is possible as well.

New number

Signing up for a new subscription is pretty straightforward. You don't need anything special. For a new number, we charge € 15 as administrative costs.

I want to keep my current number

Transferring your number to Mobile Vikings is a piece of cake: we take care of all administration involved.

What do you need?

  • The details of the subscription with your current operator (listed on your contract or payment invitation).
  • Don’t forget to check whether there’s an annulation fee in your current contract.

Free mobile communication

That's the ultimate goal at Mobile Vikings. Thanks to the Viking advantage, all Mobile Vikings call and text each other free of charge. In addition, it's super easy to earn Viking Points. You use those to settle (part of) your next payment invitation.

Refer a friend After his/her first paid bill you’ll receive 15 Viking Points. You use those as a discount on your own bill(s).

Viking Deals For each purchase with one of our partners part of the purchase amount is reimbursed in Viking Points. That means a discount on your bill, time and time again.

  • How can I activate 4G on my smartphone or tablet?

    If you have a device that supports 4G and you are in a 4G zone, the only question remaining is how to activate 4G. The settings can vary slightly, but the following steps apply to most devices:

    • Apple (iPad, iPhone 5, 5s, 5c, 6, 6 Plus): Settings > Mobile data > select "Enable 4G".
    • Samsung (Android): Settings > More settings > Mobile networks > Network mode > select 4G, LTE or an automatic network selection.
    • HTC (Android): Settings > Mobile networks > Network mode > select 4G, LTE or an automatic network selection.
    • Sony (Android): Settings > Wireless and networks > Mobile networks > Network mode > select 4G, LTE or an automatic network selection.
    • Nokia (Windows Phone 8): Settings > Mobile networks > Highest connection speed > LTE.

    If, despite configuring the correct settings and being in the right location, you are unable to activate 4G, please contact our customer care team.

  • What do I need to do when my SIM card has been stolen or lost?

    If your SIM card has been stolen or is lost, you have the possibility to block the SIM card and request a new one on your account. To do so, go to 'Settings' > 'SIM settings' or go directly to the page via this link.

    If you request a new SIM card, it will be sent to you by regular mail free of charge. You will of course keep your phone number and your remaining calling credit. To block your device we need some extra information: what was the type of device; where did you lose your device (city); what was the time when you lost it (day and time) and what is the device's IMEI number? The IMEI number is stated on the packaging or purchase invoice of your device.

  • How can I contact the Mobile Vikings customer service?

    Do you have a pressing question? Just send us an email to info@mobilevikings.com or call 078/35 30 33. Do you have a Mobile Vikings SIM card? Then call the number 1976 free of charge.
    Because we, as modern Vikings, also sail with the social media ship, it's very easy to contact us by Facebook and Twitter

  • How can I activate 4G on my smartphone or tablet?

    If you can't connect to the mobile in general click here.

    If you don't have connection with the 4G/LTE network, but you do have a connection with 2G/3G-networks, please proceed below:

    In order to surf using 4G, you need three things:

     

     

    Checked all three, but still no 4G? If you're only connecting with 2G/3G (seen as E, 3G, H or H+) your network mode probably doesn't have 4G enabled. You can check this in your device.

    • Apple (iPad, iPhone 5, 5s, 5c, 6, 6 Plus): Settings > Mobile data > select "Enable 4G". 
    • Samsung (Android): Settings > More settings > Mobile networks > Network mode > select 4G, LTE or an automatic network selection.
    • HTC (Android): Settings > Mobile networks > Network mode > select 4G, LTE or an automatic network selection.
    • Sony (Android): Settings > Wireless and networks > Mobile networks > Network mode > select 4G, LTE or an automatic network selection.
    • Nokia (Windows Phone 8): Settings > Mobile networks > Highest connection speed > LTE or 4G.

     

    If your network mode is set correctly, and you still can't connect to 4G, please contact our colleagues from customer care so they can help you out!

  • What do the Mobile Vikings subscriptions (after 10/7/2017) include?

    Well, from now on, you’re no longer bound by fixed bundles in subscriptions. You choose your own amount of mobile data and calling minutes. You can find all possible combinations here.

    Of course, you can keep on texting as usual since you don’t have to choose your own amount there. You have unlimited texts. On top of that, you also get 60 calling minutes a day to other Vikings for free!
