System update (preparing for the new technical platform)
As of Saturday 23/6 15h30 to Sunday 24/6 in the morning, we'll temporarily shut down the website and Viking App to perform a system update. Of course, everybody will be able to surf, call and text as usual. As of 24/6 there will be a few minor changes: read all about those here.
Shipping replacement SIM cards
As of 1 August 2018 we'll start shipping the replacement SIM cards in phases. Over the coming months the replacement SIM cards will be en route. So yes, it's perfectly possible you won't receive your replacement SIM card before December, for example.
So make sure your address is up to date and confirmed in your account. Logically, we'll only be sending out replacement SIM cards to confirmed addresses.
Mind you: not everyone needs a replacement SIM card. You can check here if you need one or not, and update your address if need be. Each Viking that does need one, will receive a personal email again before shipment.
Transfer Vikings with a replacement SIM card to the new technical platform
Only after activation of the replacement SIM card we sent you, we can transfer you to our new technical platform. If you want to get an idea of what changes after this transfer, read all about it here.
All Vikings on the new technical platform
On 1 February each and every Viking has to be active on the new platform. “Old” SIM cards won't work anymore.
