# Viking Points

Viking Points? That’s a discount on your invoice or top-up. Earn them by shopping or bringing new Vikings on board.

## What are Viking Points?

- Viking Points are a type of payment at Mobile Vikings. **1 Viking Point = € 1**. You can use them to pay for your **top-up, invoice, or payment invitation**. Feeling generous? Just share them with others.

- How can you earn them? By shopping online through Viking Deals or by inviting friends to become Vikings. Occasionally, there are also promotions or contests where you can score extra points.

By shopping online with one of our 250+ Viking Deal partners! Let’s be honest, you’re probably already doing that. You’ll get a part of your purchase amount back as a discount on your Mobile Vikings bill.

### Convince a friend

For every friend who activates a SIM card or gets internet at home via your referral, you’ll receive 15 Viking Points. That’s € 15 off your Mobile Vikings bill.

## Using the Viking Points you earned

### You have a subscription

Your Viking Points are automatically used to pay your next bill (fully or partially). This gives you a nice discount, or even a bill of € 0!

### You have a prepaid card

Then you can decide when to use your Viking Points. You can set them to be applied automatically with each top-up, or choose manually per top-up.

### Prefer to share?

Share your Viking Points with friends or family! Just go to the Viking Points overview in your My Viking account and click ‘Share Viking Points’.

## Do they stay valid for long?

As long as you have an active Mobile Vikings SIM card, or have access to a SIM card as a guest user , your Viking Points will remain valid.

### Do you have a subscription?

After your SIM card is deactivated, you'll receive a final invoice within 28 days. Your confirmed and reserved Viking Points will automatically (partially) be used to reduce that invoice.

### Do you have a prepaid card?

You have 31 days after the deactivation of your last SIM card to share your Viking Points with another Viking via your My Viking account. After those 31 days, all your Viking points (confirmed, reserved, and pending) will expire. So don’t wait too long!

## Frequently asked questions

### When will I receive my Viking Points?

After activating a Viking Deal, you’ll receive a **confirmation email** following your purchase or booking. Then, you’ll need to **wait for the partner’s approval** before your points become available.

On each specific partner's [page](https://mobilevikings.be/en/viking-deals/), you’ll find an **overview** of when you can expect the confirmation email and the average waiting period before your Viking Points become available.

**Once approved**, you can use your Viking Points immediately.

### What if the Viking I referred didn’t use my link or phone number?

No problem. Have that person [contact our helpdesk](https://mobilevikings.be/en/support#contact) as soon as possible with your name and phone number. We’ll make sure you still receive your Viking Points.

### What are reserved Viking Points?

Reserved Viking Points are Viking Points that are (temporarily) unavailable because they are being used for a transaction, such as a top-up or the payment of your invoice or payment invitation.

When you use Viking Points for a payment, the points are reserved until the transaction is completed - usually within a few minutes. If your top-up fails or you don't complete it, the reservation might take a bit longer, and your Viking Points can remain reserved for up to 24 hours. But no worries: you won’t lose them.

Do you have a subscription and see reserved Viking Points? Then they will automatically be used as a discount on your next invoice or payment invitation.

### How do I gift my Viking points to another Viking?

Go to the Viking points overview in your [My Viking account](https://mobilevikings.be/en/my-viking/viking-points?spc=share-viking-points) and click on ‘Share Viking points’.

### What if I have multiple subscriptions on my account?

Your Viking points will be automatically deducted from the next upcoming invoice or payment invitation on your account. You can’t choose which subscription they’re used for.

### Can I use Viking Points for an invoice or payment invitation I’ve already received?

No, Viking points you receive after a payment invitation or invoice will automatically be used for your next one. They can’t be applied retroactively.
