# My mobile internet isn’t working.

## Back online in no time!

### Check your bundle

Log in to your [My Viking account](https://mobilevikings.be/en/my-viking/sims/balance) to see if you still have enough credit or data bundles. Got an outstanding invoice? That might be the reason your connection isn’t working.

### Is your mobile internet set up correctly?

Head to [this page](https://mobilevikings.be/en/support/set-up-mobile-network) and follow the steps to set up your mobile internet.

### Are you abroad?

- Make sure roaming is enabled by following the steps on [this page](https://mobilevikings.be/en/support/mobile-internet-abroad).

- Manually select a different network and restart your device afterward. Not sure how? Follow [these steps](https://mobilevikings.be/en/support/mobile-internet-abroad#help), and you’re good to go!

### Is your SIM card still working?

Try testing your physical SIM card in another device. Still not working? Then the issue might be with the SIM card itself. In that case, quickly request a new SIM card through your [My Viking account](https://mobilevikings.be/en/my-viking/sims/swap). Click on your number and then under 'SIM card', click on 'Replace/transfer your SIM card'.

## Frequently asked questions

### I have a 4G connection, but not 5G. How is that possible?

- You have a mobile plan of at least € 15.

- Your device supports 5G. You can check [here](https://mobilevikings.be/en/mobile/5g/#device) whether your device is 5G-compatible.

- You are in a 5G-covered area. If 5G is not available at your location, your device will automatically switch to the best available network. You can check [our coverage map](https://mobilevikings.be/en/mobile/5g/#regio) to see where 5G is currently available.

### Why do I have such poor reception?

Poor reception can be caused by several factors. The farther you are from a cell tower, the weaker the signal. Thick walls, concrete, and metal can also interfere with your connection. Sometimes, other devices cause interference, and nature can play a role too. Mountains, forests, and hills can weaken your signal. Finally, the network can become overloaded during busy times, such as festivals or in crowded city centers.
