# Secure Login

Securing your Mobile Vikings account should be simple. We give you control: choose how you prefer to log in, and add extra security where you want it.

## Choose your login method

Your Mobile Vikings account contains sensitive data: your personal info, payment details, and billing. That is why strong login management is essential.

Good news: you don’t have to make it complicated at all. We offer you multiple secure options: choose the one that suits you best!

Passkey - RECOMMENDED

The fastest and safest way to log in. You log in the way you unlock your phone or laptop: you no longer need a password.

**You can easily activate a passkey via your My Viking account:**

- Go to your [My Viking account](https://mobilevikings.be/en/my-viking/products-overview)

- Go to Account

- Go to Settings > Security

- Select "Login without a password"

- Enter your password to confirm it’s you

- Follow the steps on your device and save your passkey

**Important:** Passkeys belong to a specific device (or cloud account such as Apple iCloud or Google Password Manager) where you create them. If you create a passkey on your phone using, for example, your PIN or fingerprint, it will not automatically work on your laptop.

**Tip:** Add a passkey on your phone AND on your laptop. This way, you can easily log in everywhere.

The classic: a password (less recommended)

The classic way: a self-chosen password.

**You can change your password at any time**

- Go to your [My Viking account](https://mobilevikings.be/en/my-viking/products-overview)

- Go to Account 

- Go to Settings > Security

- Select ‘Password - change your password’

- Make sure your password is unique to your Mobile Vikings account, at least 12 characters long, and use a mix of CAPITAL letters, lowercase letters, numbers, and symbols (!, @, #, etc.)

## Remove passkey

If you no longer want to use a passkey to log in, you can remove it in your [My Viking account](https://mobilevikings.be/en/my-viking/account/security). Select **Disable passkeys everywhere**.
